Although there is hardly any breathing time for the engineering students under the BPUT curriculum, the college organises its annual cultural festival in the 3rd week of January every year under the name of “TRIFEST”. Usually this festival has two components i.e. the day programme and the evening programme.

The day programme is by the students, of the students and for the students. A fully equipped and lighted stage is provided to the students with an enclosed auditorium to express their cultural/creative/artistic talents. For about three weeks, after the college hours, space is provided to students for rehearsals to put up individual or group shows. Wherever necessary, the college supports with trainers and equipments. During the day programms of TRIFEST, no outsider is invited or allowed for the show and it is a show for the students and the faculty members only where the students put up solo/group dances, vocal/instrumental music programmes, skits etc.

Fashion show by students has been a hallmark of Trident always in the past. This is staged in the evening just after the evening meeting with the Chief Guests and Chief Speakers. This is followed by an Orchestra programme by parties invited from outside.
