TRIFEST- 2008 TACT MCA College
The MCA course
of TACT is being conducted in its new four-storeyed building w.e.f the
academic session 2006-07 at the new “Technoplex”
at F2B, Chandaka Industrial Estate, Bhubaneswar. The shifting of
the institution from S-2/142, Mancheswar Industrial Estate,
Bhubaneswar became necessary since all institutions of the Trident
Group have now been centrally located in a state-of-the-art Technoplex on a patch of 11 acres land with multistoried
individual building with an envisaged project outlay of Rs.20 crores
in first 5 years.
This new facility is in close proximity of the existing and
upcoming software development centers of Infosys Technologies, TCS,
WIPRO, MindTree Technologies etc., in and
around the Infocity at Chandaka Industrial Estate, Bhubaneswar.
The college started
w.e.f. 1998-99 and continued under affiliation of Utkal University
upto the session 2002-03. Subsequently, like all other technical
courses, the MCA course of TACT has also been under affiliation of
Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT). Students are admitted
in TACT MCA course as per the policy of the Govt of Orissa through
Orissa MCA-JEE/OPECA as per Govt. Rules
