Trident Group of Institutions has decided to
set-up special facilities in Orissa for study
of Biotechnology as regular university degree
courses. Considering the requirements of
approvals of State Govt and the Govt of India,
these courses are being introduced in two
separate channels. Courses like B.Tech
(Biomedical Engg), B.Tech (Biotechnology) and
B.Tech (Bioinformatics) etc are conceptualized
as degree engineering courses and these are
being introduced in a phased manner in the
engineering college TAT with mandatory
approval of AICTE and affiliation of Biju
Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) the
only technology university of Orissa.
