Physiotherapy has been recognized by Govt of India to be an independent course outside the ambit of various courses of rehabilitation. The need for trained physiotherapists is increasing day by day for post operative treatments and for planned management of Sportspersons, Gymnasts and to tackle post operative motions, usual body pains and old age problems. Accordingly, the Trident group has set up a special facility for conducting 4 years degree course of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) under permission of the State Govt with Affiliation of Utkal University. (There is no monitoring agency for BPT at national level).
The BPT course
may start in 2007-08.
