About 40% of student of each
batch need some hand holding by the subject teachers to score
above “A” grade in the concerned subject. A teacher usually
targets his/her lectures in a theory class at a level which is
understood easily by the top 60% of students.
TAT follows the system of special care classes/tutorial classes.
In the session 2005-06, this system had gone to such an extent
that subject teachers were chasing comparatively weak students
to attend these special care classes inspite of their relative
reluctance.
On request from a group of students and/or their teacher
guardian, such special care classes will be intensified from
2007-08 onwards.
