The course of MBA was first introduced as a department of the Engineering College Trident Academy of Technology with effect from 2008. AICTE had approved the intake of 60 for TAT. 

With effect from 2009, AICTE has  again approved the course of MBA in Trident Academy of Creative Technology(TACT) with an approved strength of 60. Admission to all the seats are being taken through the JEE Counselling conducted by the Govt of Orissa. 

MBA course both in TAT and TACT, duly approved by AICTE, are under the affiliation of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), the only Technical  University of Orissa.
