As mentioned separately in the
masterplan page, the college plans to have in-campus ladies
hostels with 360 seats and gents hostels with 720 seats by 2010.
Plans have been sanctioned by IDCO for the ladies hostel and
work has already begun. The hostel is expected to be ready for
occupation in December 2009.
For the time being, the college runs its hostels in 12
(Twelve) hired buildings spread across the city. The details
of these hostels (address, telephone number, caretakers' names
and seat strength) can be available by
clicking here. More buildings are being hired near the college campus for
further requirements.
The
annual hostel charge is Rs.35000/- which includes the cost of stay
for one hostel-year (Not the summer vacation period) and the cost
of 2 major meals (Lunch & dinner) everyday. Breakfast charges are
not included. But, subject to the availability of sufficient
number of students desirous having breakfast, the mess authorities
will provide breakfast an extra cost of Rs.10/- per breakfast.
Students will occupy hostels subject to the hostel rules,
prescribed by the college and will have to be bound by the strict
discipline of these rules.
For
all non-campus hostels located beyond 2 kms of the college, the
college bus facility will be provided free of cost to all
occupants of those hostels.
