On 23rd May 2006, Prof Subroto Pal, Director of
Center for Bioengineering, Jadavpur University,
Prof. Alok Ray of IIT Delhi and Prof. Rinti Banerjee
of IIT Mumbai visited TACT and had inspected the
facilities of all its six laboratories, library,
computer facilities, teaching methodologies and
interacted with the Director, Dean and the senior
members of faculty of TACT. There was a fruitful
discussion on “Possibilities of import substitution
in Biotechnology kits”.
