In the entire Trident
Group of institutions, Codes of Conduct have been
prescribed. Any violation is viewed very seriously and may
affect the performance of the students in the college. The
codes are briefly as under.
(a) All freshers in all undergraduate courses necessarily
have a dress code prescribed for them. The PG students have
only the code of a blazer. Whereas the usual undergraduate
dress codes for freshers are mandatory for their entire
first year classes, all students including those of PG
classes necessary have to wear blazers (With Tie wherever
applicable) on the ceremonial occasion of the college as and
when so directed.
(b) Every student is issued an I-Card which should be under
his/her possession in college campus to be produced on
demand as and when necessary.
(c) There are specific regulations for the hostels, mess,
transport and library. These regulations have to be strictly
followed by the students availing these facilities.
(d) The concept of “Ragging” is literally unknown in the
Trident campus. However, there have been stray instances of
misbehaviour in the
past, but the
moment the instances were brought to the notice of the
management, exemplary punishment has been meted out to the
offenders.
In line with the tradition as above, ragging will be
considered as a serious crime in the session
2008-09. If it so warrants, offenders may also be handed
over to the police, apart from taking the severest action by
college authorities.
