Mr. Ashok Kumar Sarangi, M.Sc(Biotech), M.Phil(Biotech), PGDMLT, PhD(contng)
Department of Microbiology & Genetics
Sri Sarangi started his career as a
pharmacist and went on to get his post
graduate degree in Biotechnology from
Utkal University. He has M.Phil in
Biotechnology and PG Diploma in Medical
Laboratory technology to his credit and
continuing his Ph.D in Biotechnology.
During his M.Sc and M.Phil work, he has
worked on the area of medical microbiology
and molecular biology. He has more than
eight publications in national Journals and
two in International journals .He has also
participated in various conference and
workshop of his field.
He has 4 years of teaching experience
before his PG degree and after topping the
list in his batch, he has taught for
further six years in TACT. He is having
research experience in the molecular
study of Shigellosis and V.Cholerae in
Regional Medical Research Center (ICMR),
Bhubaneswar. His research interest include
molecular diagnosis of diseases.
